Disc Coupling

Disc coupling is a metal elastic flexible coupling using discs (usually stainless steel thin discs) as elastic elements. It transmits torque through elastic deformation of the discs and compensates for angular and axial misalignment between the two shafts. It has the advantages of simple structure, light weight, high unbalance accuracy and no lubrication required. Widely used in high-speed, high-precision transmission applications such as aerospace, servo systems and precision CNC machines.
